Magnum Ice Cream Company has raised its annual sales forecast after a long, hot summer across Europe drove stronger-than-expected demand for its products.
Strong Quarterly Growth
The Amsterdam-listed group, which was spun out of Unilever in December 2025, reported 9.6% organic sales growth in the third quarter. The extended summer contributed an estimated 2% to 3% of that growth, the company said.
Revised Outlook
Magnum now expects full-year sales to increase by around 5.5%, up from previous guidance of 3% to 5%. The firm is the world’s largest ice cream maker and also produces brands including Cornetto, Carte D’or and Ben & Jerry’s.
New Products Drive Demand
Strong demand for new offerings such as the pistachio Magnum range, a reinvigorated Solero line and new Cornetto flavours also supported growth across all regions, including the United States, its largest market.
Price Increases Offset Costs
Price rises accounted for 2.2% of the quarterly sales growth as the company sought to offset higher energy and oil prices linked to the Iran war.
CEO Comments
Chief executive Peter ter Kulve said sales of leading brands had accelerated, powered by innovation, and that improved execution had enabled the group to capitalise on strong European demand and win market share.
