A single ticket-holder secured the £2.8 million jackpot in Wednesday's National Lottery Lotto draw, while two other players each won £1 million by matching five main numbers plus the bonus ball.
Jackpot winner and new millionaires
The jackpot winner matched all six main numbers. The two £1 million recipients matched five main numbers and the bonus ball. Saturday's jackpot is now estimated at £2 million.
Lotto HotPicks and Thunderball
In Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the main draw, no player matched all five numbers to claim the £175,000 top prize. However, 16 players matched four numbers to win £6,500 each. No ticket-holder matched all five numbers plus the Thunderball to win the £500,000 jackpot.
Operator comment
Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, the lottery operator, said the draw created nine millionaires in a week, including the £4.3 million jackpot winner from the previous Wednesday. He urged players to check their tickets carefully.
Winning numbers
The winning Lotto numbers were: Round 1: 02, 04, 21, 26, 30, 38 with bonus number 51. Round 2: 02, 07, 23, 24, 29, 50 with bonus number 54. The winning Thunderball numbers were: 02, 10, 14, 15, 33 and the Thunderball number was 03.
